The Soccer/Football Toe Crew Socks were developed as a special order from a Japanese professional soccer team when there were almost no five-toe socks for soccer/football. Many professional players including ones for Japanese national team wear the socks. It takes about 50 minutes to knit just one pair. Furthermore, it goes through more than 10 processes until the product is completed. It's inefficient and not very productive, but it puts the players first.
❶ All 3-D Knitting from Ankle to Toe: Each toe is knitted three-dimensionally, and gussets are provided between the toes to make the socks easier to wear and improve the fitting on your toe, arch, heel and ankle. By adding thickness to the sole and specially knitting the toe and heel, the socks become about 2.5 times as durable as other soccer socks.
❷ Arch-Support Compression: It reduces fatigue on your foot by reducing the impact on your arch.
❸ Tabio Original Double Layered Structure for All-Weather with Lyocell (
TENCEL™), Recycled Polyester (
CALCULO™ ECO) and Nylon: The side that touches a shoe is durable, and the side that touches your skin is water repellent. The materials that absorb water, dry and deodorize are used throughout.
❹ Silicon Rubber on the Sole: Soft and strong grippy silicone rubber is used on the sole to keep the sock and shoe from slipping even when running around 360 degrees.
Caring for Five-Toe and Tabi (Two-Toe) SocksThrough Tabio's production process, Five-Toe and Two-Toe socks may have threads that stick out between the toes. However, these threads are not defective; they strengthen the structure of the toe socks and help to keep the socks durable. We advise leaving them as they are since cutting these threads may cause holes and weaken the integrity of the sock.
