We recommend you wash the socks and then wear them because you might feel the texture is a little hard when they are new.
Washi, Traditional Japanese Paper Yarn is very functional and eco-friendly fiber derived from nature. It's lighter than linen but very strong. It's made from Manila Hemp which is the strongest natural fiber used for a rope for mooring vessels also. Manila Hemp is a very eco-friendly material as it grows very fast and absorbs a lot of CO2 during its growth process.
