Washi, Traditional Japanese Paper Yarn is very functional and eco-friendly fiber derived from nature. It's lighter than linen and very strong. It's made from Manila Hemp which is the strongest natural fiber used for a rope for mooring vessels also. Manila Hemp is a very eco-friendly material as it grows very fast and absorbs a lot of CO2 during its growth process.
